John Paul Spradlin Memorial Scholarship
A one-time $1,000 college scholarship will be awarded to assist the recipient financially as he/she attends the college/university of his/her choice. Funding will be directed to the institution of higher learning at the beginning of the semester. For consideration, the following are required:
A resume of your high school achievements and activities noting areas of excellence.
A copy of your high school transcript to date.
A letter of recommendation from a high school teacher.
An essay (500 words or less) expressing the influence of the education you received at Trinity Catholic School in your accomplishments at the high school level.
Turn in all requested materials together to the Trinity Catholic School Office by 4 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024. The scholarship winner will be notified by May 17, 2024.

You may submit electronic versions of the above documents to Mrs. Brandy Rinke at brinke@thinktrinity.org. They may also be mailed or dropped off but must be delivered by the due date.

2023
Griffin Weindel graduated from Trinity in 2020 and is attending the University of Tulsa. Congratulations Griffin!
2020
Jada Mack is the daughter of Stacey and Robert Mack. She is an honors graduate of Southside. While at Southside, Jada was active in Student Council and Senior Council. She was a member of Mu Alpha Theta, the Southern Belles Drill Team, the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society. During high school, she volunteered for the Humane Society, the Salvation Army, and Habitat for Humanity. She was a member of the Chamber Choir, the Mixed Choir, and the Astronomy Club. She plans to study Math/Statistics at the University of Arkansas this Fall.
2019
Greyson Meyers is the son of Sam and Kimberlee Meyers. He is a Southside Senior who plans to attend college in Louisiana. Greyson was a member of both the TJH and the SHS track teams and also participated in Art on both the junior high and high school levels.
2018
Brianna Franco is the daughter of Diana Juarez and Sergio Franco. She is a Southside senior who plans to attend Hendrix College in the fall. Brianna has participated in band, DECA, and FBLA. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and the National Spanish Honor Society. Her volunteer work includes helping with Habitat for Humanity.
2017
Madison Geels is the daughter of Jim and Angel Geels. She is graduating from Northside High School and plans to attend UCA in the fall, where she will study Nursing. She plays Varsity Tennis, and also participates in DECA, FCA, FBLA, and Senior Council. She is in the National Honor Society, and is an Arkansas Scholar and an Honors Graduate. She works at the Ft. Smith Athletic Club.
Kaitlyn Smith is the daughter of Rickey and Krystle Smith. She is graduating from Northside High School and plans to attend UAFS in the fall, where she will study Education and Speech/Communication Disorders. She is a cheerleader and she also participates in DECA, FBLA, Spanish Club, and Senior Council. She is in the National Honor Society, and is an Arkansas Scholar and an Honors Graduate. She works at Luther Stem Pools and Spas.
